Should have known this was going to be a lame movie when they couldn't even get Stephan King to cameo in it. The characters are not very likeable and the deaths are boring, opting to "copy" some of the most obscure deaths in Stephen King's stories. There's a twist ending that's not terrible, but it wasn't enough to save the movie. With a title like that, you know it's supposed to be campy, but it never really gets there; it's just a surprisingly bloodless slasher flick with a dull antagonist and dull characters in a rather dull setting, TBH.
It could have been so much more, even without a supernatural element, like what if the characters go to meet King and accidentally kill him, and it turns out that "Stephen King" is sort of a Dread Pirate Roberts - whenever the author dies, another takes his name and job, so "You Can't Kill Stephan King" - except the characters are witnesses not in on the secret, which is where it gets murdery. Bonus points if their attackers turn out to be various keyboard jockeys and publishers, with the dark humor either coming from their unsurprising ineptitude OR their surprising competence at killing people. SMH
Point is, give this one a miss
