I am an evidence type of guy. I understand faith, but sometimes we take things by faith that God gave proofs for. With those proofs we can share with others who do not have the faith to believe. This goes through showing proof of what is scripture and what is not. It explains the process of how we got the Bible we have today. My favorite part was towards the end. It is important to study about the Bible, it is important to study the Bible, but we can't forget that the Bible was written to be personal. You can know all about the Bible, but miss out because you don't know the God behind the Bible.
Watching this video helped clarify and strengthen my love for the Word of God. We as humans, cannot find true happiness without God. The Bible helps us to Know his Will for us, his love, and his everlasting presence in your life. God is the Authority. It's all in the name, "Author". Back to the video- Yes, watch it. You've got questions? They've got answers. Many things tugged on my heart while viewing this, yet it rang true for a close friend of mine that, "doubt, deny, disobey." le sigh. Nevertheless, hope this vid will INSPIRE others to investigate who God is and his voice through the Bible. Peace be with you all.
Awesome video! I have already watched this 3 times. Faith is all about hearing and believing in the accuracy, integrity and reliability of God’s Holy Word. This video strengthens your faith which is pleasing to God. You will be blessed greatly. Watch and see. Jeff Johnson, Author of Gospills
The God Who Speaks equips me to talk about Scripture with believers and non-believers. Those teaching throughout the documentary model a life-changing wonder of God and His Word. There are countless helpful facts to learn and understand regarding the canonicity and historicity of the Word, but first and foremost, this documentary stirs up awe, submission, and a thirst to read God's Word, listening to what He has said, and basing my life on it.
This was excellent. I was spellbound from start to finish. I learned so much and was brought back to my early days as a Christian, when examining the historicity of the Jesus story opened my heart to the possibilities of God's truth. Whether you're a Christian or not, if you consider yourself to be a learned person, you should know where the most influential book in the history of humanity came from. If you're ever going to open your mouth to criticize the Bible, you should also know these things. And as Christians, we have so much to gain from drawing on the scholarship and historical evidence available to us, from both the perspectives of personal faith and evangelism.
Very well produced. Everything that is spoken on here will bless your life. I was able to learn a lot about the bible and it's origin. This is for anyone who thinks that the bible is false/cannot be trusted. After watching this you have no doubt about the validity of the bible, and the existence of God!
The content of this documentary is fine. If you can marshal all your strentgh to stay awake through the presentation, you may get some good information. I'm always amazed at how some people can take such an exciting subject and make it so boring. I guess the producers come form the if-is-serious-it-must-be-boring film school. So yes -- watch the video -- but do so only after you take in some caffine.
