Can't say enough fantastic words about this DVD. I originally streamed it on Amazon, and literally ordered the DVD upon hearing David Lama's haunting opening words, and hearing the majestic music.
These climbers are all my heroes, some of whom I've met over many years. The 20 vignettes comprise every facet of our glorious sport, and you are promised uplifting moments, as well as gut-wrenching divulgings and honest assessments. Be aware this is far from just a random array of climbing footage or haphazard interviews. Much care clearly went into this immensely moving production.
I've watched over 30 films on climbing, and this truly surpasses ALL. Perhaps since I am over 60, I an wanting to explore WHY we do what we do, and the depth of feeling we all share when we lose one of our brethren. This cherished production says it all for me.
Bravo, Dina Khreino and all at Drifting Dunes who contributed to this.
Put this in your collections, brother and sister climbers, and be safe out there!
