Some of the ID shows are a little too graphic. They seem to get off on the brutality against the victims. Some of the shows even joke around about things in the narration (Nightmare Next Door). Some use narration that make you feel like blood is splattering from your television (Unusual Suspect). I feel that these elements are distasteful in shows that are documenting actual cases.
This show is different, however. The narrator has the BEST voice of any on the ID network. His voice is perfect -- it isn't abnormally cheery; it is not blood splattering....It combines the perfect levels of seriousness and intrigue. Kudos!
Finally, the stories are interesting and tastefully done. They do not re-create the scene of death over and over and over again. I think this is insensitive to the victims and their families.
