I enjoyed the story of the Convair B36. The video has it's share of problems, but I focused on the content which I found very interesting and tied into other stuff I am interested in like the project for nuclear powered planes. I didn't know the B36 was involved with that project, even indirectly! I also found the politics for Fort Worth and how they influenced the development of the B36 interesting. In some ways makes today's politics seem a *little* less crazy!
Some of the problems I kind of liked. it seems like most of the military documentaries are all British made or at least narrated in almost sedative like tone and pace. The rough narration in this video which seems to have been recorded in an echo ridden room was a nice change for me. I got the feeling the narrator was at least interested in the subject.
The segment about the Texas tornado that did such major damage to a B36 wing was pretty impressive. In general I found a lot of the content was new to me. I watched this video because I had not seen much about the B36.
I'm taking off one star because of the rough edges, but I did like the content and thought it was well organized to tell the story of this historic and huge bomber of the cold war. So 4 stars it is.
