I liked the mix of barre and pilates, body resistant non impact workout. It was a calm workout that can be as challenging and sweaty as you want it to be. I am really enjoying them. Great workouts that challenge but dont make me so sore i cant function afterward. She is encouraging and engaging without being rudely annoying. Exercises keep my body using full range of motion and limbers those forgotten joints & muscles.
I have done episode 1 and 2 so far and I really enjoy them! I am a 35 year old mother of a 3 and 5 year old. I’m trying to commit to a 3-4x per week workout routine to keep my energy level up and feel stronger.
I definitely felt my muscles fatiguing and thought, “I’ll be sore from this tomorrow” which I like. I will likely do all the videos and then put them into a rotation of other videos to keep things interesting.
Lastly, I like Lindsay. She is lovely and encouraging but not obnoxious. My definition of obnoxious would be Jillian Michaels whose “ripped in 30” is also in my rotation.

I did the HIIT workout right after a model workout. I wasnt up for much jumping but with releves, squats, sidelifts I could feel the HIIT of the workout, even though I skipped the jumps. It was fun to see the sandpipers moving around.
These videos are quick-change exercises with not enough explanations and very few modifications. I did a barre pregnancy routine consistently throughout my pregnancy and loved it. When I lost my baby weight and was tired of running and yoga I decided to try out these videos. I like to think I’m in pretty good shape but since I’m new-ish to Barre these weren’t the videos for me.
These series is wonderful. As others have noted, Lindsay is upbeat and encouraging without being obnoxious. They are all challenging, but the time seems to go by fast. The 27-minute ab video will leave you sore for days. They're all very effective!
